The Blue Academy draws inspiration from the need for capacity building to strengthen and develop groups, networks, and organizations such as ours.

In order to efficiently advocate for the ocean, we have to first ensure that all of us in Ocean's Voice are equipped with the necessary skills and attributes to be effective leaders, team members, and advocates.

The single water drop against the waves of water symbolizes the significance of that droplet to make a body of water. This mirrors the need to continuously enhance one’s skills, attributes, and values through learning and doing to build experience and resilience - to build a voice. The droplet represents the crucial importance of every individual member in our cause to save and protect the ocean and sea.
